Creative Tourism in Minas Gerais (Brazil)

The state of Minas Gerais (Brazil) iniciates a serie of discussions related to the creative tourism. To inaugurate this new cycle, Sistema Fecomércio MG, with the support of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, has invited the director of the Creative Tourism Network®, Caroline Couret to participate in a program of debates and presentations about this topic.

She will present the creative tourism to tourist managers of diverse areas of Minas Gerais. Meetings with experts of  SETES-MG will be held as well, to promote the development of the creative tourism through the state. The cycle of debates will be closed with a conference scheduled within the week Semana do Turismo do Sistema Fecomércio MG – along with the Superintendent of Gastronomy of SETE and the Ministry of Tourism of Porto Alegre, in commemoration of the World Day Tourism.
The activities will be held in Belo Horizonte, capital of Minas Gerais.

First Canadian municipality joins the Network!

We wish a warm WELCOME to Saint-Jean-Port-Joli  (Québec) , new member of the Creative Tourism Network®.
It deals with the first municipality in Canada and the second in North America to carry the colors of creative tourism.
Currently in process, this structuring project will be officially presented in early 2015.

A great adventure to be followed! ... under the sign of the cultural exchange, authenticity and creative experiences!
Last year, the Creative Tourism Network® had the honnour to give a training within  the Summer University of Laval and IPAC, held in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli. In this occasion we could appreciate the high potential of this destination to develop such a new tourist trend.
