Congratulations to the Magdalen Islands (les îles de la Madeleine) in Quebec, that, for the second year in a row, won the Excellence Tourism Awards which aims to promote excellence and innovation in the Quebec tourism sector.
The Magdalen Islands Tourist Board team stood out in the category for its beautiful touch of originality and the mobilizing aspect of the “I care for les Îles de la Madeleine” campaign, particularly via the video capsules, designed and produced by the Île Imagin’air team. The choice of communication channels, in particular the digital actions deployed by the Hint Marketing agency, were used in accordance with the different stages of the visitor’s journey. They therefore made it possible to reach the right people at the right time; whether heading towards the archipelago or once at your destination.
This initiative in favor of sustainable and responsible tourism was carried out in consultation with the community and various partners in the sector. This campaign would not have had the same impact without the involvement and commitment of our members and partners.
Thanks to this innovative awareness campaign, and with this recognition, Tourisme Îles de la Madeleine stands out and positions itself, once again, as a leader in the tourism industry on a provincial scale.
