The Creative Tourism Network® (CTN)—recognized by UNESCO, UN Tourism, UNOSSC, and Ministries of Tourism and Culture worldwide—announces its call for entries for destinations to earn the coveted CreativeFriendlyDestination® Label.
As the world’s leading authority in creative tourism, CTN invites destinations of all kinds— from picturesque villages to vibrant metropolises, including Creative Cities, SIDS and mountain resorts —to leverage their intangible heritage, creative industries, and human resources in order to build a circular, virtuous tourism model that fosters resilient and sustainable ecosystems.
🌟 Selected destinations will benefit from:
- Strategic support and international recognition
- Multilingual training, mentoring, consulting, and marketing services
- Visibility within a global creative tourism movement
- Eligibility to host a Creative Tourism Conference in their destination.
The Creative Tourism Network® offers its expertise, prestige and network to destinations wishing to become global creative hubs, while promoting inclusive development through the co-creation of authentic tourism experiences.
Pre-applications are open until August 29th, with a simple form and pre-validation within one week.
Applications are accepted in English, French, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese, ensuring global accessibility.
The first official agreements with selected destinations could be announced during FITUR
(Madrid, January 22d, 2026) – or in any other occasion proposed by the destination itself.
