La République des Arts (The Republic of the Arts), based in Cannes on the French Riviera, has been awarded the Best Local Creative Cluster Prize at the 13th Creative Tourism Awards — an international distinction that highlights the remarkable creative momentum emerging from the Cannes region.

In this highly competitive international context, the award granted to La République des Arts underscores the relevance and uniqueness of the Cannes model, selected among 223 applications from 28 countries, showcasing exemplary initiatives from around the world.

This global recognitionstrengthens Cannes’ position among Europe’s most innovative creative tourism destinations and opens new opportunities for collaboration, partnerships, and international visibility for all members and partners of La République des Arts.

Through exhibitions, workshops, events, artistic encounters, and support for creators, La République des Arts offers lasting visibility to local talent and strengthens public engagement with artistic practices, while contributing to the development of a coherent creative tourism offer supported by Cannes Visitors Bureau & Tourist Office, within the Cannes, a CreativeFriendly destination program.

The Jury praised the organization’s ability to bring together nearly 200 artists, artisans, creators, and local talents, forming a genuine creative cluster rooted in cooperation, diversity of practices, and the promotion of local savoir‑faire.
