Salvador de Bahia,

creative tourism destination

The potential of Salvador de Bahia to attract the creative tourists doesn't need t be demonstrated!

Whether it deals with learning brazilian percussions or dance, participating in a Bahian cooking class, making a writing retreat, an art residenncy or just feeling inspired by its creative atmosphere, the city has always been a place-to-be for the most arty travellers!

It is thus natural that Salvador de Bahia and the Creative Tourism Network® collaborate to generate sinergies from the creative tourism. This project was born wihin the BTL fair in Lisboa, with Mrs. Regina Ahmed, director of Bahiatursa.

Master in Heritage and Cultural Projects for Development

As every year, we had the pleasure to conduct a workshop on creative tourism within the Master in Heritage and Cultural Projects for Development , a program organized by the University of Barcelona, the University of Torino and the International Formation Center of the OIT, in collaboration with UNESCO’s Center of World Heritage; both organizations are part of the United Nations.

We seize the opportunity to congratulate these young professionals from all over the world for the brilliant projects they designed and presented within the session!
