Come and meet Jordi and his world of ceramics, a tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation. He will open the doors of his workshop and share with you his passion for ceramics. A unique opportunity to learn from a talented and generous craftsman.

Beeswax candle workshop

Discover a natural and totally organic material, and leave with beeswax candles made with your own hands. A decorative element that will have its place in your living room when you return.

Creative pottery workshop

Be inspired by the beautiful works of Annick’s workshop and follow the precious advice of a French artist, passionate about ceramics and the traditions of the Empordanet. Get your hands dirty and make your own clay object.

Cooking is also a cultural heritage shared by the peoples of the Mediterranean. Olive oil is one of the main ingredients used, which makes all the authenticity and flavor of its dishes. During your stay in Empordanet, there are different ways to discover and learn more about this delicious cuisine.

Workshop of Recuit de Drap

Do you know the “Recuit de Drap”? Discover the behind-the-scenes making of this fresh goat cheese consumed as a dessert at the Recuits Nuri workshop located in the pretty medieval village of Ullastret. Of course, the discovery also includes the tasting of this delicious white cheese.  

Visit and olive oil tasting

Come and visit the Can Solivera olive grove to learn about the process of making olive oil from harvest to bottling. Afterwards, you will be able to taste the four extra virgin olive oils made in this traditional estate. And because olive oil is not only a culinary ingredient, you can create your own handmade soaps in the laboratory.

Visit a farm where everything is about sheep

Share the daily life of Anna and Salvi for a day and you will learn all their secrets about sheep breeding: taking care of a flock in order to obtain good meat and milk to make yoghurt and cheese. Une expérience pour toute la famille ! Tandis que les plus grands pourront arpenter les lieux d’escalade en apprenant les techniques de sécurité et de protection de ce sport, les plus petits pourront aussi tester leur équilibre grâce à des jeux. Un patrimoine historique qui vaut le détour



A Ullastret, vous serez surpris par les anciens vestiges d’une ville du VIe siècle avant J.-C bâties selon les dires par la tribu des Indigetes. Protégés par une muraille, ils sont encore partiellement intacts aujourd’hui. À l’intérieur du site se trouvent des restes de logements, de réservoirs, de silos utilisés pour entreposer les céréales et des temples. Une visite didactiques et ludiques à vivre en famille!

For the film lovers, the city is a place of shooting appreciated by the directors, we will recognize there the scenes that were also chosen for the shooting of the film 8 apellidos catalanes, which was a success in Spain.
