Creative Summer 2021 in Loulé

Loulé just announced its new Summer program to spend a creative summer, discover new experiences ! 

 

For the month of June Loulé will be launching a program of creative experiences that can be consulted through http://loulecriativo.pt/en/turismocriativo/experiencias

 

The Palácio Gama Lobo, headquarters of the Creative Loulé project will also host a series of workshops and training sessions entitled “Saturdays at the Palace”:

SÁBADOS NO PALÁCIO are back

– an initiative that aims to create a regular offer of activities, which will take place on Saturdays, at the Palácio Gama Lobo, headquarters of the Creative Loulé project. 

The offer of activities is quite varied and reflects the broad spectrum of the project’s incubates and partners – from artisans to makers, from designers to plastic artists.

On show at Palácio Gama Lobo in Loulé until July 3rd. SUMMER SCHOOL – METAL IN LOULÉ: Take part in a unique metal course in Loulé from 11 to 23 July 2021 and discover ancient metal crafts. The course is developed in partnership with Câmara Municipal de Loulé , Fundação Ricardo do Espírito Santo Silva , Michelangelo Foundation and Passa ao Futuro and held at Loulé Criativo . Students will explore the techniques of filigree, casting, metal working, chiselling, hammered copper and tin work alongside master artisans and design mentors. Learning from each other and working collaboratively, participating students will have the chance to revisit these techniques with a new perspective to then create contemporary pieces that can be passed on for generations.
