 The Creative Tourism Network® will have the honor and the pleasure to give a workshop on creative tourism within the SOTIC Conference, organized by the Caribbean Tourism Organization  next October 20th-22th in Curaçao,.

This year’s conference, which has as its theme, Caribbean Tourism: Growth Through Innovation, is organized in collaboration with Curaçao’s Ministry of Economic Development and the Curaçao Tourism Board, with support from the United Nations tourism agency, the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC).

A unique opportunity to explore and highlight the Caribbean potential and cultural richness to develop this new tourist trend.

On the occasion of the seminar on creative tourism that will be held on November 3rd within the World Travel Market – London, with the participation of the Professor Greg Richards, the Creative Tourism Network®  invites you to pich your creative tourism project. 

What is it about?

We know that most of you are dealing with creative tourism project * and want to share them with other professionals, journalists, `potential customers. We offer you a 3 or 5 minutes time to introduce them in front of a target audience.

SUCCESSFUL CREATIVE PRESS TRIP in LOULÉ 

(Algarve, Portugal)

 

The city of Loulé (Algarve) is the first Portuguese “Creative Friendly Destination”, a very deserved award  assigned by the Creative Tourism Network®. 

For this occasion international journalists were invited to take part in a creative week.end to experience themselves the very wide array of creative activities held in the historic center as well as in the natural surroundings.

Many tourists participated in the traditional dances workshops, cooking classes, crafts courses, among others.

It was a pleasure to lead a workshop "Cultural and Creative Tourism" for the students of Master 2 - Option "Tourism & Services Management"  of the Toulouse Business School (Barcelona),  that concluded with the presentation of their own projects.

Porto Alegre innovates in Creative Tourism

The Brazilian city of Porto Alegre is a pioneer again with the in organization of a creative tourism program in a unique venue, in order for the tourists to experience exhaustively the Gaucha culture!

 Every year in September, the Farroupilha Camp is THE-place-to-be for the travelers willing to learn how to saddle a horse, to make a churrasco (typical BBQ), to create jewelry, traditional clothing or to learn local dances. Such a wide array of activities that are increasingly attracting visitors from all over the world!     Congrats Porto Alegre!
