Recife (Brazil) awards its population with vaccines and incentives in creative tourism !

Good News! The City of Recife has just launched a vaccine certificate (Passaporte Recife Vacina) to stimulate the economy, the second dose of the vaccine and the recovery of affected establishments during this period, including bars and restaurants that are part of its creative tourism itineraries.

This initiative, which aims to mobilize everyone to vaccination and overcoming the covid-19 pandemic, also offers incentives in terms of discounts on benefits in creative tourism activities and commercial establishments for immunized Recife residents.

Bars and restaurants linked to ABRASEL-PE and ABIH-PE hotels and inns are already joining the program. To have access to the Passport and discounts and benefits, each person from Recife who has completed the vaccination cycle must enter Conecta Recife, generate a QR Code with the passport and present it at locations, by cell phone, to have the discount or benefit offered by each house. Anyone who has had a single dose vaccine or who has had two doses of vaccine can already have access to a passport.

The Recife City Hall continues to intensify dialogues with institutions and establishments in order to continue increasing adherence to the campaign. The objective is both to encourage the population to get vaccinated and also to collaborate with the movement of these establishments impacted by the restrictive measures necessary in the context of the pandemic, such as the city’s creative tourism territories, which offer experiences in art, culture and gastronomy.

Conecta Recife can be accessed through the website Conectarecife.recife.pe.gov.br. Or by the app, which is available for free on the PlayStore, for Android, and AppStore, for those who use the iOS system.
