Within the frame of 2021, declared International Year of Creative Economy for Sustainable Development by the United Nations, the Creative Tourism Network® has launched a call to reward the “Best Creative & Accessible Tourist Experience”.
Tourist and creative experiences around the world are invited to apply for this Award, whose deadline is April 12th.
Application is free and simple, though the following form.
The awardee(s) will be promoted through the Creative Tourism Network®’ channel.

Talking about tourism as the industry of emotions can certainly be shocking, as the pandemic has accelerated the change of the paradigm shift, there is a fascinating challenge that must be taken up, not only by tourism stakeholders but also by all of those stakeholders active in the territory.
The new global configuration and its geographical limitations have made tourism a space for close ties, returns to human values, and sensory experience.
This is where creative tourism and accessible tourism have demonstrated their virtues to (re)create links, meanings and emotions by focusing on sensoriality and authenticity.
Although each of these segments has qualitative as well as quantitative values, the synergies between the two are today undeniable and valued by destinations of all types around the world.
We met representatives of destinations that have received the CreativeFriendlyDestination Certification, by the Creative Tourism Network® for the quality of their creative tourism offer and the value chain created in their territory, particularly in terms of accessible tourism.
