France: Successful 3rd edition of the International Tourism Talks of the Future

The Creative Tourism Network® had the honor to participate in the 3rd edition of the International Tourism Talks of the Future (Entretiens du Tourisme du Futur), held last September 5th, 6th and 7th, in the awesome castle of Vixouze, located near  Aurillac, in the center of France.

This International Think Tank gathered experts, practitioners and politicians, as Mr. Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne,  Minister of State attached to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, in order to anticipate the future of tourism.

Under the theme “From Sustainable Development to Ethic and Responsible Development in Tourism by 2030-2050″, a rich program of plenaries, keynotes and pitches generated relevant debates with the hundreds of attendees

The director of the Creative Tourism Network®, Caroline Couret, participated in a roundtable on “Tourism to be experienced vs Tourism to see”, sharing experiences with Mr. Jean-François Chougnet, President of MuCEM –  Mucem Museum of the Civilizations of Europe and the Mediterranean (Marseille), Mr. Emmanuel Marcovitch, Deputy Chief Operating, Réunion des Musées Nationaux, and Mrs. Anastasia Tzigounaki, Director Ephorate of Antiquities of Rethymno (Crete).
