Experts from different countries took part in this meeting to be held in Barcelona on June 13-14th, organized by ATLAS with the Creative Tourism Network® and headed by the Professor Greg Richards.
Cases of creative tourism from Catalonia, The Netherlands, Hungary, Portugal, Italy, UK, Denmark, Brazil, the USA and Thailand were discussed during this fruitful sessions in which the experts also worked on the the Best Practices of Creative Tourism.
We want to thank again SETBA, Zona d'Art to welcome this meeting. There couldn't be better place to do it than this exceptional venue situated in the heart of the Plaza Real. An appartment in which lived highlighted artists and that currently invite you to express yourself creatively! |

The town of Biot received, last April 11, the Award for Innovation in Tourism form the Region Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, for its creative tourism program.

The Creative Tourism Network® participated last May in the International Symposium on the theme "Mediation and Creativity in Tourism and Heritage", organized by the Institute of Cultural Heritage (IPAC) at Laval University (Quebec).
These initiatives, led by Professor Habib Saidi, seek to introduce students, traders and institutions in Quebec to a new form of tourism that offers tourists the opportunity to experience their culture by living unique experiences.
The next step will be the incoporation of destinations of Quebec to the Creative Tourism Network®.
